Workshop - Advances in Mathematical Image Reconstruction

November 24-26, 2014 - Innsbruck

Mathematical image reconstruction is a key element for the success of many medical imaging and remote sensing applications. Examples include classical computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), or photo-acoustic tomography (PAT). Such imaging modalities often require the solution of an inverse problem related to Radon or Fourier type transforms, or the parameter identification in certain PDEs. In this workshop leading experts report on various aspects in the development and analysis of modern mathematical image reconstruction.
